She starred in the tear-jerker One True Thing and the comedy Nurse Betty. She played Bridget in the romantic comedy Bridget Jones’s Diary (and its 2 sequels), and played Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago. She won an Oscar for best supporting actress for the war drama Cold Mountain. Her current role is in the drama Same Kind Of Different As Me.
PIERCE BROSNAN Pierce Brendan Brosnan was born on May 16, 1953 in Ireland. He moved to England at an early age, and trained at the Drama Centre in London for 3 years. Following a stage acting career, he rose to popularity as the title character in the TV series Remington Steele (1982–87). He appeared in films such as the Cold War spy film The Fourth Protocol and the comedy Mrs. Doubtfire. In 1994, Brosnan became the 5th actor to portray secret agent James Bond, starring in GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough and Die Another Day. He took the lead in the epic disaster adventure Dante’s Peak and the remake of the heist film The Thomas Crown Affair. Brosnan starred in the musical/romantic comedy Mamma Mia!, the political thriller The Ghost Writer and the action spy thriller The November Man. His current role is in the action thriller The Foreigner.
